Description

A very fine Queen Anne Walnut Escritoire. The fall front with figured book matched veneers with rosewood crossbanding below a long concealed cushion drawer. The base with a pair of short drawers above two long drawers. The fine interior with an arrangement of pigeon holes and drawers around a central cupboard opening to reveal small drawers. With latter replaced bracket feet and 18th century pierced brass handles. The interior elaborate gilt drop handles and escutcheons original.   Circa: 1700 Height: 160cm  Width: 108cm Depth: 50cm
